Copyright Protection and Design Use Policy – Website Notice

1. Ownership and Copyright Notice

Umgee USA, Inc. features original designs, artwork, prints, and graphics watermarked “Umgee Exclusive” which are collections exclusive to Umgee USA, Inc. These works are protected under United States Copyright Law (Title 17, U.S. Code) and international intellectual property treaties. Each design and print is either copyright registered or protected under common law rights as original works created by Umgee USA, Inc. Any unauthorized use constitutes an infringement of those rights.

2. Unauthorized Use and Prohibited Activities

Without prior written consent from Umgee USA, Inc., the following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Reproducing, copying, or imitating any Umgee USA print, design, or pattern.
• Producing, manufacturing, or selling products derived from or inspired by Umgee USA’s copyrighted works.
• Distributing, marketing, or displaying designs that replicate or closely resemble Umgee USA’s protected works.
• Using Umgee USA’s creative materials for commercial or promotional purposes.

Any company, designer, or manufacturer found engaging in these prohibited activities will be considered in violation of federal copyright law.

3. Infringement and Legal Action

Umgee USA, Inc. actively monitors the marketplace for infringements of its intellectual property. If any design, garment, or product is found to be substantially similar or derivative of Umgee USA’s copyrighted works:

• The infringing party will be required to immediately cease production, remove all listings or products from sale, and destroy or surrender infringing inventory.
• Failure to comply may result in formal legal action, including but not limited to claims for statutory damages, attorney’s fees, and injunctive relief under U.S. Copyright Law.

4. Respect for Creative Integrity

Umgee USA, Inc. values creativity, originality, and respect within the fashion industry. We believe that protecting intellectual property encourages innovation and fairness for all brands and creators. We welcome collaborations and licensing opportunities; however, prior authorization in writing is required for any use of Umgee USA’s copyrighted materials.
